We are
a local expression of The Salvation Army and we commenced meeting in Ivybridge in 2002. Services are
led by Majors Malcolm & Beverley Knightley.
Our aim is to be a relevant expression of the Christian faith believing
that God wants us to share his love with others. We believe that our faith should make a practical difference to who we
are as people and should give us a heart for others.
We meet for
worship as a church each Sunday. Our services are informal and are open to anybody, whether or not you have had any
links with any church before. You would be made very welcome!
For details of times,
activities and venue please follow the links on the left of the page.
On Sunday 11th July we moved to our third 'home' in the town and now meet at Ivybridge
Methodist Church at 1pm every Sunday. Here you can see us as we walked though the town to
our new premises, fulfilling the vision Major Beverley Knightley had for the church eight years ago...
